A project - A dream
It is in 2019 that Nico arrives in Mexico after having spent the last few years doing only small jobs. A friend (Antoine) offers him to try a new life in Puerto Escondido and neither one nor two, here he is, in this paradisiacal landscape.
Max joined Nico a year later after leaving his job in events in France; Nico's journey has made him grow wings and he too needs a renewal. After a few months of adaptation to the country, the 2 decide to embark on the tourist rental project. They therefore quickly embark on the adventure, criss-crossing Puerto Escondido and they want to share it with as many people as possible!
Over 25 years of friendship
Nico and Max have known each other since their childhood since they were together in primary school (8 years old) and immediately got along. It is rare to keep friendships since early childhood so, for them, this friendship is precious and helps them today to overcome all the difficulties. Each one having its qualities and its faults, they complement each other and maintain a coherence on the vision of the project.
The idea
The hardest part is getting started! So Max put the necessary impetus to launch the project and the first steps were taken in October 2020. The 2 feeling so good in Mexico that they want to share their passion and invest themselves 100% personally here. Some technical difficulties at the start due to the Spanish language which they do not yet master, the cultural differences and in the work and the creation of the company. It took a bit of time because (due to lack of Covid), it was complicated to gather the papers and get the necessary appointments to open the company. In May 2021, after a few months of waiting, the company is created and work will begin.
First steps
In May 2021, work begins with great enthusiasm. The choice of the architect to accompany them in the project was very important. Then follows the creation of the first plans: 5 to 6 proposals are studied, with different positions and disparate economic models. Once the choices have been made, construction can begin!
The idea was therefore focused on an original construction with a style that brings together the French Mediterranean style and the Style of the Mexican coast.
building
Work is heavy! Indeed, Max and Nico set foot in the stirrup with the team in charge of the works. Between the foundations, the walls, the plumbing, the electricity, the construction of a building covers a wide spectrum and the 2 friends realize that they were right to trust an architect and his employees. They have therefore learned a lot and participated in all stages, while keeping in mind that the most important thing is to think about future customers and their personal comfort.
1 year job
In November 2021, the project is finally up and running. The house is finished and for rent on Airbnb. A significant investment, stress, a lot of work and we are very proud of what has been achieved.
